I hate it when I am reading a story or comments online and some ...person... tries to use the excuse "The Internet is still new, and people are just figuring out how to do things properly on it" or some similar piece of crap.
People, the Internet IS NOT NEW! It was around before personal computers became big. It was around before a majority of the young people using it today were born.
The World Wide Web - you know, www? - is also NOT NEW. It's been around since the early 90s. Just because people didn't know how to access it or it wasn't popular doesn't mean it's new.
Seriously people, we're approaching 20 years here. If you want to call it new, I guess that means we're all still getting used to the horseless carriage and flight as well? Color TV? Wow, that's brand new!
