A PC made of corn!

STORY

It's not 100% corn, in fact, it's mostly plastic. But it is cool that they are starting to use materials that pollute less.

The TV show Eureka used a case made mostly out of potatoes when it released on DVD in 2007.

My only concern with the use of biodegradable materials is whether or not my DVD case or PC will still be around in 10 or 20 years. I mean, it's degradable.

Guitar Woes

I had to return my shiny new guitar. I'm sad.

OK, not really. Sad, that is. I did have to return it. The low E string buzzed on the frets, and - more importantly - my right wrist does not appreciate strumming a pick on the guitar strings. It lets me know that it doesn't appreciate it by causing me extreme pain. Weighing pain versus my desire to screw around on the guitar, I decided to return the guitar. I need my wrist to be pain free for a lot of other activities, so guitar-playing is right out. (Yeah, yeah, insert your pathetic masturbation jokes here. Ha. Ha.)

To Be Honest

It makes me nuts when people use this phrase, as they just have no clue how it is supposed to be used. I see it being used all the time when people are presenting an opinion. "To be honest, WoW is an EQ clone." What? Did the current generation all fail high school English?

I looked up the meaning of the original phrase, but I was more amused by what the folks at Urban Dictionary had to say about it:

New Guitar

It's an Ibanez (of course) GAX70. I tried a bunch of guitars that cost $200 and under at Guitar Center, and ended up liking this one the best. The action is nice, the sound is nice, and it looks great.

I also picked up a Line 6 amp that has a bunch of built in effects. I'd really like a metal effects pedal, but this 15W practice amp is nice for now. (Besides, it's not like I intend to play the guitar in a band. Like my drum set, it's mostly for writing music and having fun with. )

My what big shoulders you have

Ok, so they are mail shoulders meant for a Shaman, but my shoulder armor really sucked, so I am wearing them anyway. Besides, they look cool. Like Koopa corpses or something.
